God is speaking so many things to me lately that I don't know exactly which one I should put in the blog. It is this rats nest in my head that has been the reason for no new posts in the last couple of days. So, here it goes!
First off, lets talk war. Yes, I am back to this again! Take up your armor (Eph 6:10-17) and fight the good fight. All the while you must protect the ignorant and weak until such time that they can become strong in the Word. Help feed them milk (Hebrews 5:12), encourage them when they are down, and disciple them to follow Christ and learn to wage war too. Every time that God starts something big, Satan steps up his attacks against EVERYONE! A couple of months ago, on my way home from work, God told me that he's about to blow everybody's mind. About a month ago, he told me to suit up, its time to go to war! Since these messages were communicated, I have seen the evidence of Satan stepping up his attacks. Sickness, injury, financial attacks, etc are getting steadily worse. It is in these times that we are to put our faith in God and God alone. He is our refuge and strength and our help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
Next, The world is an exceptionally evil place that we currently live in. You can't trust the people that were put in place to protect us and our interests (cops, politicians, the president, etc.), you cant trust the people that we get our goods and services from (food, clothing, phone, cable, fast food), and unfortunately you cant trust the majority of people on TV that claim to be preaching the Gospel. "If you don't have the $58 for your miracle seed, you can just put it on your credit card!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? The Word of God is strictly against debt and yet you are going to encourage somebody that doesn't even have $58 to use a credit card to pay you for your wickedness? That's why people don't trust Christians. People think that the reason we give is because the pastor is greedy! In a few cases that's true, but the basis of it is tithing and sowing seed. The bible commands us to "bring our tithes (literally means 1/10) into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house." (Malachi 3:10) As far as the politicians go, I know that we have to submit to authority set above us. The point that I am trying to make is that we must be on our guard against EVERYTHING that does not line up with the Word. We also need to be prayed up and studied up so that we know what we need to do to be walking in according with God's plan.
Finally, I am so sick and tired of people bashing each other over stupid things that shouldn't even be an issue. Another unfortunate aspect to this issue is that this is happening in the Body of Christ. If we cannot get along with each other, how in the world are we supposed to get along with unbelievers long enough to minister to them. It violates the Great Commandment. Love God with EVERYTHING YOU HAVE! Love your neighbor as you love yourself. (Matthew 22:36-40) Get past yourself, get in prayer, and ask God how can you and the person that you cannot get along with coexist for the betterment of His kingdom! (Matthew 6:33)
