They may be debaucherous, but love them anyway!!!

Proverbs 24:1-2 Be not envious of evil men nor desire to be with them, for their hearts desire violence and trouble
This post is going to be very difficult to write without sounding condemning.  I apologize to anyone that may think that I am condemning them.  Please remember that I love you and do not wish for you to be angry with me.  I am writing from my heart and with the experience and Scripture that I have on the subject. Please give God ALL the glory!
Ever seen a group of people that are doing things and behaving in ways that you know in your heart that are wrong?  Have those same people given you crap because you don’t join in with them in their wicked ways and called you stuff like Holy Roller and Jesus Freak?  Have you ever felt the urge to join them?  Remember what the consequences of those actions are.  I work at a hotel 60 yards from a beach.  My boss and my male coworkers are always looking at every decent looking woman that walks by and making jokes about the ones that aren’t decent looking.  I know that I have a sinful past so thank God for His grace that I could be wiped clean of my previous debauchery.  Given my past it would be much easier to go along with what they are looking at, pointing to, and trying to get me to stop my work and do the same.  In the short term, yes it would be easier to simply go along with it.  However, I tell you that we are commanded by God to live, not for the present life, but to be concentrated on eternal things.  Ever heard somebody say something about their treasure being in heaven?  That’s what I mean.  No I do not tell them that they are going to hell because of their lustful eyes, that’s condemnation and not my job.  The point here is that what their hearts desire is not in line with the will of God.  In Matthew 5, Jesus says, “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”  I would say that is pretty clear on how such a simple thing as what my coworkers are doing is leading them down the path to destruction.
Yes, people will call you all sorts of names and some of mine have been quite entertaining.  I got called Ghandi once.  Do I look that skinny?  Cause if so, my mirror lied to me.  You will be laughed at for your adherence to God’s Word.  However, you will be rewarded for your obedience (Galatians 6:9).  It is possible to keep being a correct view of Jesus to the world.  Keep loving them no matter their sin.
The accompanying verses in the Word are some of my favorites, and so that’s what I’ll close with: Romans 12:1-2 “ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
AND TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
